Depending on how often you wash your hair, determines how often you incorporate the pre-wash and deep conditioning treatments. For example if you wash your hair every two weeks, every 3rd wash should be a treatment. Also, remember to apply a generous amount of the treatment on the ends of your hair. It is best to use homemade treatments when they are fresh. Refrigerate any leftovers and use within 2-3 weeks. While you can add to these recipes, the rule of thumb is to keep it simple.
